Mexican 1lb

Our newest bean comes from the state of Chiapas in Mexico, and has quickly become a Sanctum favorite. This Mexican coffee brings some more confectionery flavors to our specialty lineup, ranging from peanuts to baker’s chocolate, with just a touch of molasses.  Certified organic, this fair-trade coffee bean is fully-washed-processed and then sun dried to provide a smooth and consistent flavor. The coffee cherries were grown on heirloom coffee plants that took root at an elevation of 1,750 meters in the beautiful mountainous region right outside of the El Triunfo reserve. The main three varietals with this crop were bourbon, caturra, and typica.
